f/8 DoF Calculator App Reviews

I totally agree with the other reviewer who said that there are two major issues. The measure of unit is only in meter/centimeter, and the closest focal length is at 4 m

Does what its supposed to do. A few issues: It is not current with cameras. I have the 5D Mark III, which has been out for awhile, yet the app doesnt have it yet. It also is prone to crashing, and tell me a lot of what I already know. I feel the price is a bit much given what it does and the fact that its not up to date with technology (in fact its well over 6 months behind).

They dont have the 6D! I am using the MarkIII instead, but Id rather have my actual model. Good choice of lenses, has measurements in feet, and is very easy to read. Makes understand DOF relatively simple.

This app is very out of date and it appears the company/app developer is out of business. I tried to contact them via their ‘Developer Website’ link. On the site it has a Support/Contact us link. However, when I sent an email, I immediately received this reply "Delivery Notification: Delivery has failed”. Don’t make the same mistake I did…my bad. Last update is dated Jan 2011.

So many of these apps have come and gone, but this one has had the staying power for me as a serious hobbyist photographer. I dig it.

Worst app ever. It came recommended in a photography article but unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews before I paid for this. The app has not been updated since 2011 and does not support any of the new cameras. I own a Nikon D800. This app is totally useless for my equipment.
